Journey Home Young Adult helps teens ages 18-23 in need of additional guidance after graduation from a residential treatment program. Clients work towards building independent living skills in order to transition successfully into adulthood.

A typical client in the Journey Home Young Adult program is a young person who has seen growth in self-confidence, emotional maturity, and self-motivation. Our clients have specific goals that they wish to reach during their time at our program. These goals can range from academics to career goals. They are focused on improving emotional, physical and relational health.

How does our failure to launch program for New Jersey teens help?

Although Journey Home Young Adult is a failure to launch program located in Salt Lake City, Utah, we have helped girls and assigned female at birth from all over the country. After successfully completing a treatment program, this program helps teens ages 18-23 take their next step. Journey Home Young Adult offers a supportive living environment and continuous support from our multidisciplinary clinical team establish a healthy lifestyle.

The city offers a variety of resources our students might need: colleges and universities, career and volunteer opportunities, social and cultural events, and beautiful mountains and National Parks–all easily accessible from our home like setting. Group outings for adventure and cultural activities are built into our weekly schedule so our students can experience everything Salt Lake City has to offer.

At Journey Home Young Adult, we want to empower teens from New Jersey to heal, grow, and live fuller lives while pursuing their dreams.

New Jersey Young Women Transitioning into Adulthood at Failure to Launch Programs

The transition to young adulthood is a transformation to be celebrated, not feared, at Journey Home Young Adult! As with any life transition, there are unique challenges that face New Jersey teens as they enter young adulthood – which is why we have cultivated a supportive and intentional community to encourage teens during this time. Young people who have previously been in treatment are in unique situations during this transition. Compared to other young adults, they know that they may need more support and structure during this time. These people also have likely gone on their own journey of self-discovery up until this point and want to be in a community that understands and respects their progress. Journey Home Young adult was created for people transitioning into young adulthood and struggling with emotional, behavioral, or mental health disorders.

Helping Young Women From New Jersey Launch Into A Brighter Future

We focus on the specific needs of teens ages 18-23 who are struggling with failure to launch. We work with New Jersey teens by offering a balanced and well-rounded program focused on personal responsibility, healthy relationships, life skills, and college integration. At Journey Home Young Adult, our teens learn about self-care, budgeting, time management, and other skills that lead to increased personal responsibility. We promote open and honest communication between peers and with our clinical team.
