Journey Home Young Adult helps teens ages 18-23 in need of additional guidance after graduation from a residential treatment program. Clients work towards building independent living skills in order to transition successfully into adulthood.

A typical client in the Journey Home Young Adult program is a young person who has seen growth in self-confidence, emotional maturity, and self-motivation. Our clients have specific goals that they wish to reach during their time at our program. These goals can range from academics to career goals. They are focused on improving emotional, physical and relational health.

North Carolina Young Women Transitioning into Adulthood at Failure to Launch Programs

Journey Home Young Adult celebrates the transition to young adulthood. We have cultivated a supportive and intentional community to encourage North Carolina teens to face the unique challenges of life transitions, particularly into young adulthood. Having successfully completed a treatment program, teens face unique challenges when considering their next step. Due to the circumstances, they know that they may need a bit more support and structure than other young adults living independently might. These people also have likely gone on their own journey of self-discovery up until this point and want to be in a community that understands and respects their progress. This is why Journey Home Young Adult was created: to help guide teens with emotional, behavioral, or mental health disorders during their transition into young adulthood.
