Why Choose Journey Home Young Adult?

Journey Home Young Adult, a leading independent living program in Utah, works with teens from North Carolina and across the country to find support and healing during the transition into adulthood. The size of our program creates a nurturing community and allows us to meet the individual needs of each young woman. We allow our students to define their own version of success and pursue their own path, as success depends on context and culture.

The small size of our program, including 10-11 young women, allows us to tailor our independent living program to meet the exact needs of each of our students. Our students each have a diverse array of interests – we want them to all be empowered to pursue their own dreams, and with a small program like ours, they have the ability to do just that! As young adults, our students deserve to have the flexibility to make choices and decisions for themselves. Our program is designed to allow for this flexibility with day-to-day decisions.

Our small program size gives young adults from North Carolina the chance to explore a variety of greater opportunities. Our staff gives students individualized attention and support and stays by their side every step of the way, starting on day one. We are here to help as mentors in exploring your interests and in making difficult decisions. By developing meaningful relationships with every student, we can truly understand what their future goals are.
