Independent Living Programs For Pennsylvania Young Adults

Who do Independent Living Programs for Pennsylvania Young Adults help?

Young adults from Pennsylvania struggling with a variety of issues, problems, and behaviors find the support they need at independent living programs for clients over the age of 18. The goal of these programs is to empower young adults to achieve independence and success by offering them skills, education, and experience that better prepare them for it. It is important to find the appropriate fit when considering a transitional or independent living program. When programs in Pennsylvania don’t seem like the appropriate fit, there are other options. It can be very beneficial for young adults to go to a new place and experience success in that environment, by increasing their self-efficacy and self-esteem. Journey Home Young Adult’s independent living program helps young adults integrate into a new community in the Salt Lake City, Utah area.

Why Choose Journey Home Young Adult?

Journey Home Young Adult, a leading independent living program in Utah, works with young women from Pennsylvania and across the country to find support and healing during the transition into adulthood. With our small, intimate program we can create a personalized course of treatment for each young woman to find future success. We give students more autonomy in defining personal goals and future success, as we recognize that it depends on the context of the situation and their cultural background.

Our independent living program can be personalized to meet the individual needs of our students, as we have a small student body of 10-11 young women. As we consider each student’s individual needs in our small program, we empower them to pursue their individual interests. As they are transitioning to young adults, we believe they deserve to have the flexibility to make choices and decisions for themselves. Our program is designed to allow for this flexibility with day-to-day decisions.

This small program size means big opportunities for you or your young adult from Pennsylvania. The individualized attention and support means we are there every step along the way – starting on day one. We are here to help as mentors in exploring your interests and in making difficult decisions.
