By working with a very specific age group, teens ages 18-23, we have been able to design our program to meet the unique needs of this population. We are a comprehensive program that considers all aspects of our young women’s development. Why Choose Journey Home Young Adult?

Journey Home Young Adult, a leading independent living program in Utah, works with teens from Wisconsin and across the country to find support and healing during the transition into adulthood. The size of our program creates a nurturing community and allows us to meet the individual needs of each young woman. We give students more autonomy in defining personal goals and future success, as we recognize that it depends on the context of the situation and their cultural background.

Our independent living program can be personalized to meet the individual needs of our students, as we have a small student body of 10-11 young women. As we consider each student’s individual needs in our small program, we empower them to pursue their individual interests. As they are transitioning to young adults, we believe they deserve to have the flexibility to make choices and decisions for themselves. Our program size and design allows for this flexibility with day-to-day decisions.

Our small program size gives young adults from Wisconsin the chance to explore a variety of greater opportunities. Starting on day one, our staff is there every step of the way to offer individualized attention and support. From small, in the moment mentoring to big, sometimes difficult decisions, we are there to help. In developing close and meaningful connections with every student, we are better able to understand what their future goals are and how to help. If Journey Home Young Adult’s individualized approach sounds like it could be a good fit for you or your young adult from Wisconsin, call (801) 444-0794 to learn more about our independent living program.
