Journey Home Young Adult helps teens ages 18-23 in need of additional guidance after graduation from a residential treatment program. Clients work towards building independent living skills in order to transition successfully into adulthood.

A typical client in the Journey Home Young Adult program is a young person who has seen growth in self-confidence, emotional maturity, and self-motivation. Our clients have specific goals that they wish to reach during their time at our program. These goals can range from academics to career goals. They are focused on improving emotional, physical and relational health.

Journey Home Young Adult is a failure to launch program located in Salt Lake City, Utah. This program serves teens ages 18-23 that have successfully completed a treatment program and are looking for their next step. Journey Home Young Adult helps students continue to receive clinical support from our multidisciplinary team and establish a healthy lifestyle in a supportive living environment.

Our home-like setting is intentionally close to opportunities in the city our students are looking for, including colleges and universities, career and volunteer opportunities, social and cultural events, and beautiful mountains and National Parks. We integrate a variety of groups outings for adventure and cultural activities that Salt Lake City has to offer into our weekly schedule.

Journey Home Young Adult celebrates the transition to young adulthood. As with any life transition, there are unique challenges that face North Dakota teens as they enter young adulthood – which is why we have cultivated a supportive and intentional community to encourage teens during this time. Having successfully completed a treatment program, teens face unique challenges when considering their next step. Compared to other young adults, they know that they may need more support and structure during this time. Everyone in our community understands and respects the progress these people have made on their individual journeys of self discovery. Journey Home Young adult was created for people transitioning into young adulthood and struggling with emotional, behavioral, or mental health disorders.

Helping Young Women From North Dakota Launch Into A Brighter Future

We focus on the specific needs of teens ages 18-23 who are struggling with failure to launch. We work with North Dakota teens by offering a balanced and well-rounded program focused on personal responsibility, healthy relationships, life skills, and college integration. At Journey Home Young Adult, our teens learn about self-care, budgeting, time management, and other skills that lead to increased personal responsibility. We emphasize open and honest communication in everyday interactions.
