Journey Home Young Adult helps young women ages 18-23 in need of additional guidance after graduation from a residential treatment program. Clients work towards building independent living skills in order to transition successfully into adulthood.

A typical client in the Journey Home Young Adult program is a young woman who has seen growth in self-confidence, emotional maturity, and self-motivation. Our clients have specific goals that they wish to reach during their time at our program. These goals can range from academics to career goals. They are focused on improving emotional, physical and relational health.

At Journey Home Young Adult, we see the transition to young adulthood as an event to be celebrated! As with any life transition, there are unique challenges that face Oklahoma young women as they enter young adulthood – which is why we have cultivated a supportive and intentional community to encourage young women during this time. Young women who have previously been in treatment are in unique situations during this transition. They know that they need a bit more support and structure than other young adults might.
