Journey Home Young Adult helps young women ages 18-23 in need of additional guidance after graduation from a residential treatment program. Clients work towards building independent living skills in order to transition successfully into adulthood.

A typical client in the Journey Home Young Adult program is a young woman who has seen growth in self-confidence, emotional maturity, and self-motivation. Our clients have specific goals that they wish to reach during their time at our program. These goals can range from academics to career goals. They are focused on improving emotional, physical and relational health.

How does our failure to launch program for Wyoming young women help?

Located in Salt Lake City, Journey Home Young Adult is a failure to launch program created to fit your individual needs. We help young women ages 18-23 looking for their next step after successfully completing a treatment program. Journey Home Young Adult offers a supportive living environment and continuous support from our multidisciplinary clinical team establish a healthy lifestyle.

Our home-like setting is intentionally close to opportunities in the city our students are looking for, including colleges and universities, career and volunteer opportunities, social and cultural events, and beautiful mountains and National Parks. We want our students to experience everything that Salt Lake City has to offer, so built into our weekly schedule are group outings for adventure and cultural activities.

At Journey Home Young Adult, we want to empower young women from Wyoming to heal, grow, and live fuller lives while pursuing their dreams.

Wyoming Young Women Transitioning into Adulthood at Failure to Launch Programs

The transition to young adulthood is a transformation to be celebrated, not feared, at Journey Home Young Adult! Young adulthood poses many challenges for Wyoming young women in the middle of the transition, which is why we have cultivated a supportive and intentional community to encourage them. Even more unique are the circumstances that young women who have previously been in treatment face during this time. They know that they need a bit more support and structure than other young adults might. These women also have likely gone on their own journey of self-discovery up until this point and want to be in a community that understands and respects their progress. Journey Home Young adult was created for women transitioning into young adulthood and struggling with emotional, behavioral, or mental health disorders.

Helping Young Women From Wyoming Launch Into A Brighter Future

We focus on the specific needs of young women ages 18-23 who are struggling with failure to launch. In order to create a balanced and well-rounded program for the Wyoming young women we work with, we focus on teaching them a variety of life skills, including personal responsibility, healthy relationships, and college integration. At Journey Home Young Adult, our young women learn about self-care, budgeting, time management, and other skills that lead to increased personal responsibility. We emphasize open and honest communication in everyday interactions.
