Getting help outside your traditional support system in Michigan is a difficult decision, but failure to launch programs are designed to make it easier. By helping young adults get out of their comfort zone and get into a space where they can be independent and successful, failure to launch programs help Michigan young adults move forward with their lives. Journey Home Young Adult, an independent living program for young women ages 18-23, does just this. Although we are located in Utah, young women from Michigan have found their path toward a healthy, sustainable life through Journey Home Young Adult’s program.

who we help

We help young women ages 18-23 who need ongoing support after completing a prior, more intensive treatment program. Our clients are developing independence while making the transition into healthy young adulthood.

A typical client in the Journey Home Young Adult program is a young lady who has made significant strides in areas of emotional development, self-motivation, self-confidence and a sense of emotional maturity. How We’re Different From Other Failure To Launch Programs

Unlike other failure to launch programs, Journey Home Young Adult serves young women that have completed another treatment program just before enrolling. The transition to young adulthood can be a difficult time, so we focus on this population to support the gains that these young women have made in other treatment program. Our clinical staff has had years of experience in transitional living settings, helping young women navigate issues like depression, anxiety, academic struggles, and low self esteem.

Our supportive and nurturing home is located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Salt Lake is full of activities for girls from Journey Home Young Adult to learn work and play, making it a great place to live. Journey Home Young Adult has helped many young women from Michigan thrive by using us as their launching point into a successful young adulthood.

Transitioning into Adulthood at Failure to Launch Programs for Michigan Young Women

During the turbulent years of adulthood, failure to launch programs help Michigan young women find success. Journey Home Young Adult is a program for young women ages 18-23 that could benefit from a failure to launch program and also need help finding success in their lives. In order to inspire positive changes, students at Journey Home Young Adult build upon smaller successes to achieve bigger successes. We also understand how hard it is for young women to find their sense of self and identity in today’s modern world. Journey Home Young Adult was created to help students navigate the journey that is young adulthood today.

Other therapeutic programs have helped many Michigan young women receive support. Journey Home Young Adult was designed specifically with these young women in mind. All of our students have successfully completed a therapeutic program before coming here and want to continue to refine their skills in an independent living situation.
