Journey Home Young Adult helps young women ages 18-23 in need of additional guidance after graduation from a residential treatment program. Clients work towards building independent living skills in order to transition successfully into adulthood.

A typical client in the Journey Home Young Adult program is a young woman who has seen growth in self-confidence, emotional maturity, and self-motivation. Our clients have specific goals that they wish to reach during their time at our program. These goals can range from academics to career goals. They are focused on improving emotional, physical and relational health.

Journey Home Young Adult is a failure to launch program located in Salt Lake City, Utah. We help young women ages 18-23 looking for their next step after successfully completing a treatment program. Journey Home Young Adult offers a supportive living environment and continuous support from our multidisciplinary clinical team establish a healthy lifestyle.

The city offers a variety of resources our students might need: colleges and universities, career and volunteer opportunities, social and cultural events, and beautiful mountains and National Parks–all easily accessible from our home like setting. We want our students to experience everything that Salt Lake City has to offer, so built into our weekly schedule are group outings for adventure and cultural activities.

At Journey Home Young Adult, we want to empower young women from Nevada to heal, grow, and live fuller lives while pursuing their dreams.

Nevada Young Women Transitioning into Adulthood at Failure to Launch Programs

At Journey Home Young Adult, we see the transition to young adulthood as an event to be celebrated! We have cultivated a supportive and intentional community to encourage Nevada young women to face the unique challenges of life transitions, particularly into young adulthood. Young women who have previously been in treatment are in unique situations during this transition. They know that they need a bit more support and structure than other young adults might. After embarking on a journey of self-discovery, these women want to continue to be in a community that understands and respects their progress. Journey Home Young adult was created for women transitioning into young adulthood and struggling with emotional, behavioral, or mental health disorders.

Helping Young Women From Nevada Launch Into A Brighter Future

Failure to launch issues are common in young women ages 18-23, although every student has individual needs that we work with. We work with Nevada young women by offering a balanced and well-rounded program focused on personal responsibility, healthy relationships, life skills, and college integration. At Journey Home Young Adult, our young women learn about self-care, budgeting, time management, and other skills that lead to increased personal responsibility. They practice open and honest communication daily.
