Journey Home Young Adult helps young women ages 18-23 in need of additional guidance after graduation from a residential treatment program. Clients work towards building independent living skills in order to transition successfully into adulthood.

A typical client in the Journey Home Young Adult program is a young woman who has seen growth in self-confidence, emotional maturity, and self-motivation. Our clients have specific goals that they wish to reach during their time at our program. These goals can range from academics to career goals. They are focused on improving emotional, physical and relational health.

Located in Salt Lake City, Journey Home Young Adult is a failure to launch program created to fit your individual needs. We help young women ages 18-23 looking for their next step after successfully completing a treatment program. Journey Home Young Adult offers a supportive living environment and continuous support from our multidisciplinary clinical team establish a healthy lifestyle.

The city offers a variety of resources our students might need: colleges and universities, career and volunteer opportunities, social and cultural events, and beautiful mountains and National Parks–all easily accessible from our home like setting. We integrate a variety of groups outings for adventure and cultural activities that Salt Lake City has to offer into our weekly schedule.

At Journey Home Young Adult, we want to empower young women from New Hampshire to heal, grow, and live fuller lives while pursuing their dreams.

New Hampshire Young Women Transitioning into Adulthood at Failure to Launch Programs

Journey Home Young Adult celebrates the transition to young adulthood. As with any life transition, there are unique challenges that face New Hampshire young women as they enter young adulthood – which is why we have cultivated a supportive and intentional community to encourage young women during this time. Having successfully completed a treatment program, young women face unique challenges when considering their next step. Due to the circumstances, they know that they may need a bit more support and structure than other young adults living independently might. After embarking on a journey of self-discovery, these women want to continue to be in a community that understands and respects their progress. During the transition to young adulthood, Journey Home Young Adult helps guide young women with emotional, behavioral, or mental health disorders.

Helping Young Women From New Hampshire Launch Into A Brighter Future

We focus on the specific needs of young women ages 18-23 who are struggling with failure to launch. In order to create a balanced and well-rounded program for the New Hampshire young women we work with, we focus on teaching them a variety of life skills, including personal responsibility, healthy relationships, and college integration. At Journey Home Young Adult, we help young women accept personal responsibility by teaching them budgeting, time management, self-care, and other valuable life skills. We promote open and honest communication between peers and with our clinical team.
