Journey Home Young Adult helps young women ages 18-23 in need of additional guidance after graduation from a residential treatment program. Clients work towards building independent living skills in order to transition successfully into adulthood.

A typical client in the Journey Home Young Adult program is a young woman who has seen growth in self-confidence, emotional maturity, and self-motivation. Our clients have specific goals that they wish to reach during their time at our program. These goals can range from academics to career goals. They are focused on improving emotional, physical and relational health.

Located in Salt Lake City, Journey Home Young Adult is a failure to launch program created to fit your individual needs. This program serves young women ages 18-23 that have successfully completed a treatment program and are looking for their next step. Journey Home Young Adult is a supportive living environment that helps our students establish a healthy lifestyle and continue to receive clinical support from our multidisciplinary team.

Our home-like setting is easily accessible to all the resources our students might need: colleges and universities, career and volunteer opportunities, social and cultural events, and the beautiful mountains and National Parks that surround the city! Group outings for adventure and cultural activities are built into our weekly schedule so our students can experience everything Salt Lake City has to offer.

Oregon Young Women Transitioning into Adulthood at Failure to Launch Programs

Journey Home Young Adult celebrates the transition to young adulthood. We have cultivated a supportive and intentional community to encourage Oregon young women to face the unique challenges of life transitions, particularly into young adulthood. Having successfully completed a treatment program, young women face unique challenges when considering their next step. They know that they need a bit more support and structure than other young adults might. After embarking on a journey of self-discovery, these women want to continue to be in a community that understands and respects their progress. During the transition to young adulthood, Journey Home Young Adult helps guide young women with emotional, behavioral, or mental health disorders.

Helping Young Women From Oregon Launch Into A Brighter Future

We focus on the specific needs of young women ages 18-23 who are struggling with failure to launch. In order to create a balanced and well-rounded program for the Oregon young women we work with, we focus on teaching them a variety of life skills, including personal responsibility, healthy relationships, and college integration. At Journey Home Young Adult, our young women learn about self-care, budgeting, time management, and other skills that lead to increased personal responsibility. We promote open and honest communication between peers and with our clinical team.
