Journey Home Young Adult helps teens ages 18-23 in need of additional guidance after graduation from a residential treatment program. Clients work towards building independent living skills in order to transition successfully into adulthood.

A typical client in the Journey Home Young Adult program is a young person who has seen growth in self-confidence, emotional maturity, and self-motivation. Our clients have specific goals that they wish to reach during their time at our program. These goals can range from academics to career goals. They are focused on improving emotional, physical and relational health.

Vermont Young Women Transitioning into Adulthood at Failure to Launch Programs

At Journey Home Young Adult, we see the transition to young adulthood as an event to be celebrated! We have cultivated a supportive and intentional community to encourage Vermont teens to face the unique challenges of life transitions, particularly into young adulthood. Young people who have previously been in treatment are in unique situations during this transition. Compared to other young adults, they know that they may need more support and structure during this time. These people also have likely gone on their own journey of self-discovery up until this point and want to be in a community that understands and respects their progress. Journey Home Young adult was created for people transitioning into young adulthood and struggling with emotional, behavioral, or mental health disorders.
