Independent Living Programs For Arizona Young Adults

Getting Help At Independent Living Programs for Arizona Young Adults

Independent living programs for young adults work with Arizona young adults to help them achieve greater autonomy and independence. The end goal of every program is the same, typically serving clients over 18 and into their twenties transitioning to adulthood, but some programs are single gender while others are co-ed. While there are occasionally programs that are local to their clients, many times Arizona young adults are best served when they are in a new place and environment, in order to truly gain independent living skills. Although we are located in Utah, teens from Arizona have found their path toward a healthy, sustainable life through Journey Home Young Adult’s program.

who we help

At Journey Home Young Adult, we work with teens between the ages of 18-23 who are seeking additional support after completing a therapeutic program such as wilderness therapy programs or residential treatment centers. The clients we work with are hoping to develop and hone independent living skills that will help them transition smoothly into a successful young adulthood.

Our clients have taken initial steps towards improving emotional development, self confidence, and self esteem but need guidance and support to achieve their individual goals. Throughout their time at Journey Home Young Adult, clients focus on developing skills based on self set goals in areas like academics, their career or vocation, and relationships.
