Independent Living Programs For Colorado Young Adults

Getting Help At Independent Living Programs for Colorado Young Adults

Independent living programs for Colorado young adults are residential programs that help Colorado young adults achieve greater independence and autonomy. These programs can be single gender or co-ed, and typically serve clients over 18 and into their early twenties. While there are occasionally programs that are local to their clients, many times Colorado young adults are best served when they are in a new place and environment, in order to truly gain independent living skills. Journey Home Young Adult, located in Utah, helps young women from Colorado and all over the country find their path toward a healthy, successful future.

who we help

At Journey Home Young Adult, we work with young women between the ages of 18-23 who are seeking additional support after completing a therapeutic program such as wilderness therapy programs or residential treatment centers. The clients we work with are hoping to develop and hone independent living skills that will help them transition smoothly into a successful young adulthood.

Our clients have taken initial steps towards improving emotional development, self confidence, and self esteem but need guidance and support to achieve their individual goals. Throughout their time at Journey Home Young Adult, clients focus on developing skills based on self set goals in areas like academics, their career or vocation, and relationships.
